Where would we be…

Have you ever asked yourself; where would I be without someone guiding me every day? It is not trivial to take a look at yourself and the world around you and imagine life without a creator. We would not even exist without a higher power guiding us on our daily journey. The question where would we be is a question we all need to ask ourselves. It is the moment in life, the significance of truth we take for granted. However, because of our successes and the journey we are on leads us to believe that it all happened without any help from a creator. That is what some people believe and so they live their lives without any semblance of normality. Think of the advancement in science and technology. The great leap ahead and the trails that was blazed so that mankind can see and make great discoveries that shape this century. The question I would ask is, where would we be had it not been for someone bigger . and greater than us.

The world doesn’t exist in a vacuum. The process of life is intertwined in a series of processes and events that helps us to understand life and the universe as it exists. Where would we be without the air we breathe, the sunlight we enjoy and the atmospheric conditions we experience. Never take for granted the importance of our existence on this earth. Each endeavoring and all achieving does not mean that we should corrupt the universe with our lifestyle or bad behavior. Because we have become such an insolent society, we must have thought that there is no consequence for our behavior.

“Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. being filled with all unrighteousness.”

As we enter into another year with its challenges, I trust that we will reach for the higher power; the only one who can guide us as we navigate through life’s challenges. Where will we be if we leave Him out of our lives. Just like a ship needs a rudder to help guiding it, we need someone to guide us through the journey of life. This is the moment to trust in the one who is greater than us.

Forget the world with all of its confusion. Mankind has been flying in the face of God. Shaking their fist; challenging the one who is their creator. We have lost our identity. We don’t know who we are. Some say they are binary or some other form of gender. We have turned the glory of God into a shame worshipping the creature more than the creator. The stench of humanity has reached the heart of God. Our government has given sanctions to a lifestyle of immoral living. Every aspect of life is now influenced by those in leadership positions; those who will stop at nothing until their deeds are accomplished. It’s time to rise up and return to God. This is the time to rethink our priorities and set our house in order.
